Make your day better with WakenApp, an application that will help you start the day with a big smile. WakenApp works as a very atypical alarm clock. The only difference is that, when the alarm sounds to wake you up, it will do so with a message sent from some farflung corner of the world.
It's an interesting concept: community members record and send morning greetings. Then, when your alarm goes off, you'll see what they recorded to wake up. You can record your own video and brighten someone else's day, too, and the community is active enough that it's possible to get a new message every day.
To start receiving your videos, choose the exact hour and minute you want to wake up and select the type of video you want to get. There are several filters, such as language, age range, or style of recording. When the time comes, the video will be chosen automatically. The only downside is that you can't indicate specific days when you set up the alarm, so you'll have to change it manually according to your needs.
Once you're awake, you can rate the alarm video with a score between one and four points. That way, you can help create a list of the 25 best videos that have been released to the world through WakeApp. If you want to send your own message, you can. Just record a fun video telling someone good morning and send it out into the world.
